What your day looks like:

This person will receive and enter sales orders while providing high quality customer service in a professional and accurate manner. They will also complete additional essential job functions as noted below. If time allows, additional opportunities may arise to assist mill or logistics teammates.

  • Receive customer orders by phone, email or fax and prepare them accurately for computer entry
  • Receive walk in customers and prepare orders for them accurately for computer entry
  • Follow-up of customer information to maintain business systems
  • Perform internal communications with manufacturing, transportation, nutrition, and sales as required
  • Prepare invoices for mailing
  • Work with dispatch to communicate feed availability to customers
  • Update feed tags as needed from nutrition
  • Place out-bound calls to customers to facilitate order management as needed
  • Represent the Wenger Group in a professional manner while building customer rapport
  • Perform miscellaneous customer service duties as assigned by supervisor

 

Who you are:

  • One to two years customer service skills/experience beneficial
  • Strong computer skills/experience
  • High level of proficiency in keyboarding skills (40 words per minute minimum)
  • High level of accuracy in data entry
  • Professional phone manners
  • High level of organizational skill with ability to multi-task
