What your day looks like:
Nutrify is the purchasing department of The Wenger Group and specializes in feed ingredient re-sale and distribution for the feed industry. Nutrify is looking to hire an experienced Warehouse and Delivery Coordinator to provide operational support for various business functions as the company continues to grow.
The Warehouse and Delivery Coordinator is accountable for leading the various warehousing, restocking, and delivery responsibilities up to and including all aspects that are required for the successful functioning of the warehouse operations and ensuring the mills receive product in an adequate manner to support all aspects of feed manufacturing. This role may have location P/L reporting responsibility.
- Ensure adherence to Wenger policies, methods, and disciplines.
- Coordinate inventory planning and transfers to the mills to ensure their warehousing is maintained at adequate levels.
- Ensure mills maintain sufficient stocked quantities to avoid outages.
- Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of ingredients.
- Maintain scheduling of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Coordinate with Nutrify and WFM Transport for logistics needs.
- Maximize warehousing space.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution as necessary.
- Ensure facility and product security.
- Arrange ingredients within the warehouse and organize special requirements for certain stock, such as antibiotics.
- Transact Transfer Orders and Receipts in the ERP system.
- Ensure receipts match purchases and required receiving paperwork is received and processed.
- Follow appropriate documentation processes to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure items received are in good condition and have sufficient shelf-life.
- Coordinate ingredient movement between mill locations as needed.
- Maintain inventory levels to avoid excesses, shortages, or expired ingredients.
- Minimize shrink and loss.
- Maintain a safe and efficient warehousing environment.
- Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met.
- Coordinate inventory adjustments between various departments.
- Perform monthly/quarterly inventory counts.
- Deliver (non-CDL) ingredients to customers or mill locations when needed and applicable.
- Deliver (CDL) ingredients to customers or mill locations when needed and applicable.
- Coordinate, plan, and manage property maintenance.
- Coordinate ingredient disposal.
- Rotate and cycle inventory in accordance with a FIFO inventory system to ensure ingredient expiration date system does not allow ingredients expire and become unusable. Coordinate within milling system to ensure a successful delivery of near expiring ingredients for usage.
- Develop and maintain a schedule for Nutrify bagged ingredient transportation assets.
Who you are:
- Ability to operate a forklift & electric palletjack
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to operate CDL vehicles & non-CDL vehicles
- Ability to deliver products outside of standard business hours on weekdays/weekends (on call)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to prepare reports and maintain accurate records
- Proficiency in computer solutions preferred
- General maintenance skills
- Ability to work independently

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50-55 lbs. consistently and up to 80 lbs. on occasion

General requirements
- High school diploma
- Valid PA driver's license & CDL certification
- Warehouse & inventory experience
- Leadership experience preferred
- Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures
- Must be able to multi-task
- Strong organizational skills
- Flexible to changing priorities
- Highly effective communicator, both verbally and in writing
- High sense of accountability and follow-through
